I'm not going to use the normal scoring system. I never really cared for that. Sure, there will be categories of criticism but they just won't have points. Instead I'm just going to give you an overall score with stars. You can see the scoring of this at the bottom. Now onto the categories...
First Impression
Name: What I think about the name you chose for your diary. Did it sound interesting when I first read/saw it? Or did it just seem stupid? Does it go with your diary or not?
Layout: If your layout is hard on the eyes or just hideous, this category is going to be harsh. No one wants to read something while it looks horrible. Having a diaryland template or whatever host you use, is not something I suggest either. If you need one go to a site like
velvet designs or something.
Content
Navigation: Do all the links work? Can one easily get around on your diary? Are links easy to find? Is it cluttered? No one likes a messy site!
Entries: How often do you update? That doesn't effect the scoring too much but your entries should have a lot of content though. They don't have to be long either, as long as they're interesting and not boring daylogs. A good diary should keep one's attention.
Extras: Most diaries have different extras for visitors to enjoy. This can include anything from quizzes to links torings or anything else. Do you have anything I've never seen before? Might get you another star or something.
The Good & The Bad
Favorite Entry: Whatever entry I enjoyed reading the most, if there is one.
Least Favorite: Whatever entry I hate the most, once again if there is one.
Good Points: Things to keep up with on your diary. Things I really enjoyed.
Helpful Hints: Some pointers for your diary whether the layout needs work or the content needs some attention grabbers.
Stars: Here is where I'll put how many stars you have earned. See below for scoring.
κκκκκ = extremely awesome / pure star quality
κκκκ = really good / almost golden
κκκ = good / room for improvement
κκ = alright / needs some work
κ = bad / needs a load of work
W = just horrible / almost no hope
